📌In a few words

We are looking for a Senior Compliance expert for a client in the aeronautical sector, with experience ED-153 regulation mandatory and Software Assurance / Software Quality background.

🎯Your mission

As a compliance expert, you will support the development and help the implementation of Software Assurance as required by (EU) 2017/373 as well as the implementation of new regulatory framework on conformity assessment of ATM/ANS Ground Equipment and more specifically (EU) 2023/1768 to meet the strategic needs of the client.

This includes utilising previous experience in the field of software assurance, technical and/or operational ANSP knowledge to realise the appropriate processes, supporting activities, monitoring and training suitable to support the strategy.

📝Description of activities:

1. Reporting and accountability:

Is accountable to, and reports to, the Software Assurance Manager and the Head of Technical Assurance.

2. Support of Software Assurance (60%):

– Follow-up of corrective action plans for Application Engineering &

Integration teams (TD) and IT Infrastructure Services (TP),

– Support/coaching for TD and TP in implementing Software

Assurance objectives in their procedures,

– Software verification and Change arguments for TD and TP,

– Monitoring Software Architecture Analysis & Design and Software Quality Assurance Self-Assessment for TD and TP,

– Support for Software Assurance at Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) Services (TN), mainly for the Software Configuration Management part (alignment of practices between the different line organisations (Communication, Navigation and Surveillance).

3. Support of Conformity Assessment (40%):

– Support for TD and TN in gathering evidence from suppliers,

– Support in demonstrating compliance with Detailed Specifications

(DSs) for equipment,

– Support for TD and TN in continuous improvement of equipment and changing engineering (and Change Management) practices to move towards Design or Production Organisation (DPO) and equipment certification.

💼Your profile

– Strong IT skills.

– Application development experience in regulated

environment.

– Already performed / hands on experience on Software Assurance Activities in a highly regulated environment e.g., pharmaceutical, and/or Automotive, and/or Aerospace industries

– Good knowledge of a Software Engineering Standard e.g., ED-153, ED-109A

– Knowledge of specific ATM/ANS regulations (e.g., (EU) 2017/373, (EU) 2023/1768)

– Sound experience in training delivery

– Strong presentation and document writing skills

– Pragmatic, Teamwork and Problem solving

– Very good verbal and written English

– Master degree in IT
