📌 In few words

We’re looking for a SQL software engineer for a client in the banking sector, based in Geneva. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of SQL database and data modelling, IT production systems and scripting, cloud computing. Additional knowledge on computer hardware, software and networking is a plus.

🎯Activities

• Maintain essential IT operations, including daily and monthly automated production, data maintenance and investigation
• Produce and update production, technical and user documentation of the reporting environment
• Provide first level support, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, printers, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
• Ensure production jobs are running as expected
• Serve as main contact of the reporting platform to the rest of the company
• Report any unhandled issues to the internal IT team

💼 Your profil

• Good data modelling skills (transactional, data warehousing)
• Hands-on experience with MS-SQL server and Power BI
• Experience with automation tools; VisualCron a plus
• Experience with at least a scripting language; PowerShell a plus
• Redaction of documentation; excellent English a plus, Visio a plus
• Understanding of ETL concepts; specifically use of metadata and data dictionary
• Knowledge of the financial environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
• Committed and result driven
