📌 In a few words

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to join our team and accompany our customers in Bern, which is a leading Swiss insurance company.

🎯 Your mission

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Architect to join our IT Architecture team. This role involves planning and designing the architecture of technical components, focusing on cloud-based and service-oriented solutions at the enterprise, process, service, and information levels. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of relevant experience and a strong background in Cloud systems, particularly within the Azure environment.

• Understand the needs and expectations of stakeholders regarding Cloud systems and architectures.
• Develop solution proposals and decision-making frameworks based on gathered requirements.
• Design and update technical components based on Go and Terraform, aligned with the company’s cloud strategy and business objectives.
• Provide consultancy in software projects and application development processes related to Cloud architectures.
• Develop and enforce quality standards for cloud architectures.
• Plan and conduct design reviews of technical components and their architecture within the team.

💼 Your profile

• Design and update technical components based on Go and Terraform, aligned with the company’s cloud strategy and business objectives.

• Expertise in architectures, business and requirements engineering, data management/data engineering, ICT business management, ICT management, and information security.
• Strong methodological competence in project management, quality management, risk management, and service/design.
• Ability to handle complex issues, abstract thinking, effective communication, design and problem-solving skills, self-management, and social skills.
• Business knowledge related to administration, control processes, compliance, business change due to ICT, and competitive situations in the sector.
• Skills in orchestration solutions and a strong desire to expand expertise in the cloud environment would be beneficial.
• Fluent written & spoken German is required. English or French are also an advantage.
