Our raison d'être: humanizing our businesses
With almost 20 years of existence and over 600 employees, we are proud to continue to build our business around the values that gave birth to our company: trust, transparency and proximity.
Our company is made up of human beings, in all their strengths and interests, each contributing their stone to a common edifice. While our business is of course driven by an obvious need for profitability, we can’t ignore our impact on the world around us either. Our raison d’être goes far beyond the services we provide to our customers. The meaning of our activities and the well-being of our employees are an integral part of our DNA.
It was with the desire to have a positive impact on our ecosystem that we naturally embarked on a CSR initiative a few years ago. Corporate volunteering, reducing our carbon emissions, responsible purchasing… Many projects have been successfully completed, and we are delighted to have seen them awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal on several occasions.
One thing’s for sure: we intend to pursue this commitment over time and continue to support the causes that are close to our hearts.

Our actions
A CSR policy in line with the UN's sustainable development goals
All the CSR actions in which Qim info invests are defined in line with the UN’s sustainable development objectives and the company’s core business. We make a point of ensuring that our impact is truly useful for our ecosystem and Qim info’s stakeholders.
Corporate volunteering
Every year, Qim info offers its employees the chance to volunteer with the Colis du Coeur Foundation. Founded in 1993, its mission is to distribute food and hygiene products to families and individuals in precarious situations living in the Canton of Geneva. Every week, the 300 volunteers distribute aid parcels to over 6,000 people. At Qim info, we’ve already mobilized some 30 employees and carried out 110 hours of volunteer work.
Sports association
The virtues of sport in the workplace are numerous: it reduces stress, enhances well-being at work and strengthens the bond between teams… Aware of these challenges, Qim info employees, with the support of the Management Committee, have set up an association offering everyone the chance to practice a sport on a regular basis (running, climbing, soccer…), as well as more occasional outings to discover new activities.
Partnership with HEG
For several years now, Qim info has been a partner of the Geneva School of Management (HEG). We are committed to supporting students on their academic journey and in obtaining a quality education. To this end, each year we finance a prize for one of the students in the “Software Engineering” stream of the Bachelor of Science HES-SO.
IT Mentoring
For several years now, Qim info has been involved with the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), taking part in the Coding Club For Girls mentoring workshops for girls aged 11 to 16. One of the aims of this initiative is to deconstruct preconceived ideas about the IT and digital professions for young girls. Over the past 2 years, 7 of our female employees have volunteered to talk about why they chose to work in IT and their career path.
Digital Responsibility
As a digital services company (ESN), Qim info attaches the utmost importance to reducing its carbon footprint. In partnership with the Institut du Numérique Responsable, Qim info offered all its employees free training in digital responsibility, with the option of taking the associated certification.
Equal pay
Like all Swiss companies, Qim info underwent a detailed study using the Logib tool, following the Swiss Confederation’s standard analysis procedure. The pay gap identified as a result of this analysis showed that there was no gender-based pay inequality. Qim info is proud to play its part in reducing the pay gap between men and women, particularly in a very male-dominated sector.
Energy efficiency
It’s official: all Qim info branches are powered by energy from local, renewable sources! It’s a way of participating in the collective effort to reduce our overall environmental impact.
Responsible purchasing
Qim info works with a responsible purchasing charter in order to evaluate its suppliers and favor collaborations in line with its values and CSR objectives. The charter incorporates environmental, social and ethical criteria. To create a virtuous economic circle, each of our partners integrates this approach alongside us over time.
Energy efficiency
Qim info is working on its carbon footprint. Despite an increase in the number of business trips (proportional to the growth in its activity and workforce), Qim info saw its CO2 emissions per employee fall to 2tco2e/collaborator over the year. A significant drop, full of promise for our future efforts.
