📌 In few words

We’re looking for a Storage/backup Infrastructure Engineer for one of our banking customers in Geneva. Within the storage/backup team, you will be responsible together with the other members for all tasks
related to the various storage, archiving and backup solutions and technologies.

🎯Activities

• Build, run and maintain our critical storage and backup infrastructures.
• Contribute in architecture and evolution analysis on the storage and backup solutions.
• Promote the “as code” management of our platforms by participating in the automation of tasks in order to improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.
• Define metrics, kpi and dashboard.
• Perform and contribute to the technical vulnerability assessments and remediation.
• Perform on-call duties in rotation with other team members (24/7).
• Liaise with both product owners and technical teams.

💼 Your profil

• Engineering or university degree.
• Good experience in the management of modern backup solutions (ex: Rubrik, Avamar or similar).
• Good experience in the management of different storage technologies: NAS, S3, Block, SAN, VSAN, CAS, storage arrays (ex: Dell, NetApp, Hitachi, HPE, minio).
• Experience of working with virtualization technologies, and linux and windows operating
  systems.
• Experience or strong interest in “as code”, API, automation, devops and related tooling.
• Curious, willing to help, persevering, persistent, proactive and with a willingness to always learn
  new skills and technologies.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and strong team player.
• Fluent in French and good level in English (minimum B2).
• Residence in switzerland required.
• Swiss or another nationality with work permit for more than 3 years.
