Gender pay gap: Qim info reaches its goal!

At the beginning of 2021, Qim info conducted a study to analyse the gender pay gap. Our findings were no surprise for Team Qim: For the same job and skills, the gender pay gap was zero!

This result is essential for Qim info because we are committed to each individual’s professional and personal development. This news triggered us to think about our Qim info CSR approach to offer collaborators the most harmonious working environment possible.

A study carried out with complete transparency

In January 2021, Qim info underwent a detailed study using the Logib tool, following the Swiss Confederation’s standard analysis method. The pay gap identified in this analysis showed no gender inequality.

We are delighted to contribute to reducing the gender pay gap at our level.

A commitment that is the quintessence of Qim info

Gender equality has always been a priority at Qim info. Women represent 23% of our employees, while in 2019 in Switzerland, women represented only 15% of working professionals and only 15% of IT students were women (source: ICTJournal).

A trend that we hope will be reversed in a few years! Because yes, we believe that it is essential that women participate in developing the IT sector.

We would really like to see an increase in the number of women studying computer science 🚀. And that is why we have partnered with EFPL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne). Remember, a few weeks ago, five women collaborators mentored young girls during Coding Club workshops where they talked about their career paths and the different professions in IT.

Who knows, maybe in a few years, some of the participants will be working in IT and will be Qim employees? 😉
