Before presenting our services, we feel it’s important to introduce Qim info as a whole.
We are what’s known as an IT group, or an Entreprise des Services du Numérique (Digital services company – ESN), also known as a Société de Services et d’Ingénierie en Informatique (IT services company – SSII). All these different names – we’ll explain them in more detail in an article about IT services companies –refer to one and the same thing. To put it simply, Qim info is a company that offers a wide range of services in the IT sector.
Let’s go back to the beginning: Qim info was founded in Geneva in 2004 by three passionate engineers, driven by a desire to change the way ESNs are perceived. The three letters in the name “Qim” stand for “Quality, Engineering, Method”, so that we never forget the strong principles that guide our actions.
Since the company was founded, our presence in Switzerland has gone from strength to strength.. By opening two new branches in Annecy and Basel, we are strengthening our position as a committed digital expert in German- and French-speaking Switzerland. Qim has now grown significantly and has 6 branches, including 5 in Switzerland (Zurich, Lausanne, Basel and 2 in Geneva) and one in France (Annecy).
Qim info currently has over 120 customers in a dozen different business sectors. We believe in building lasting relationships based on trust. In 2022, 242 projects were carried out with the full benefit of our expertise, in a spirit of trust and transparency. We work closely with our customers in order to understand their specific needs and match them with the right skills and profiles. Did you know that Qim info is the 3rd largest IT Company in French-speaking Switzerland in 2022, according to ICT Journal ? Every year for just under 10 years, ICT Journal has ranked the 100 largest ESNs in French-speaking Switzerland by number of employees. Present in this ranking since 2016, Qim info moved up from eighth to third place in 2022. What’s more, we’re proud of our first-place ranking in the canton of Geneva and our third-place ranking in Lausanne.

We are committed to the well-being of every employee in the workplace, and we also care about solidarity and the environment. In short, Qim info is a far cry from the cliché of the big, cold, lifeless ESN!
Inside Qim info
Qim info puts the development of its consultants at the heart of its concerns. We want to do justice to our
HappyIndex®AtWork 2021, obtained with a score of 4.31/5.
Because each person is unique, we do our utmost to ensure that everyone can fulfill their ambitions. We bring new talents on board carefully thanks to the presence of a Business Manager, who is available on a daily basis to discuss things with them and prepare them for the missions entrusted to them. Employees can also count on the presence of a Business Unit Manager, who acts as a work coach to help talented people reconcile their personal and professional lives in the best possible conditions.
Moreover, further professional training for our employees, particularly by means of certification, is a priority for Qim info. We work with them to hone their skills and develop their expertise. Likewise, the periods between assignments are ideal opportunities for our employees to learn new skills. We want to make the most of the inter-assignment period: as soon as an assignment comes to an end, we integrate our employees into our in-house teams, offer them the opportunity to improve their skills through training courses, and give them new assignments to carry out.
We also organize regular company events to help employees bond and feel part of Qim info. It’s a chance to celebrate our successes together and talk about the ones that lie ahead. In 2021, we took the initiative of carrying out a detailed study using the Logib tool, following the Swiss Confederation’s standard analysis mode. At Qim info, our commitment on a human level is reflected in our daily actions. We do our best to highlight volunteering and solidarity in our company’s actions.
For example, during 5 half-days in early 2022, several of our Qim info employees volunteered with the “Colis du Cœur” association in Carouge, to provide invaluable help to those who need it most.
Furthermore, in February 2023, we formalized our partnership with the Savoie Mont Blanc University Business Club, thereby confirming our commitment to training the professionals of the future. This collaboration has enabled us to develop targeted initiatives, such as welcoming students for internships or work-study programs, and setting up workshops designed to facilitate professional integration.
What’s more, it is important for us to make our business accessible to young people and show them the different opportunities available. In 2023, we therefore made a commitment to EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) to take part in Coding Club For Girls workshops. Four of our employees met with young girls aged 11 to 16 to discuss their career paths and motivations in the IT sector. Our aim: to deconstruct preconceived ideas about the digital professions and show young girls that there is a place for them.

CSR commitment at Qim info
At Qim info, we implement actions that are in line with our values on a daily basis. Our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of our approach. In 2021, our colleague David Vucic lit the flame of a global approach by creating a CSR committee. With the enthusiastic support of management and staff, we embarked on a journey to significantly reduce our environmental impact.
For example, our Geneva premises are 100% powered by energy from renewable sources, and waste sorting and composting bins are installed at each of our branches. We also give a second life to our unused IT equipment by recycling it or donating it to charities. The purchase of new furniture is subject to sustainability criteria, and a responsible purchasing charter also governs the requirements we place on suppliers.
In addition to these concrete actions, we are keen to pass on our commitments internally. We therefore offer certification courses with the Institut du Numérique Responsable.
Finally, the solidity of our commitment has been validated by EcoVadis, the global standard for CSR assessments, which awarded Qim info a silver medal in 2022 and again in 2023, as well as a score of 60/100. This is higher than 79% of companies evaluated worldwide. Building on this success, we aim to further strengthen our position as a committed CSR player.
